I am so excited to announce a new member of the family. Blondi D’Bouvier arrived via UPS on Wednesday of last week. Yes, my new spinning wheel. THANKS MOM AND POP! They all get names. My husband suggested Dizzy Blond. She is made of maple and has a natural stain, so she is very light. And [...] I’ve been carding the Coopworth fleece from Hidden Valley. It is really beautiful. Very lustrous. The sheen is incredible. washed, uncarded I have about 1/3 of the 9+ pounds of raw fleece ready to spin. |
